I purchased the Jetson Bolt electric bike in July with high hopes, intending it as a thoughtful gift for a family member. However, the overall quality of the bike left much to be desired, leading to a series of frustrating issues.

Battery Woes Within a Month
Shortly after the purchase, the first setback occurred when the bike’s battery ceased to charge within less than a month of use. This initial problem prompted the need for a replacement.
Persistent Issues with Replacement
The replacement battery arrived on August 11, but the problems persisted. In less than two weeks, the tire unexpectedly burst, scattering inner tire fragments during a routine pumping attempt. The inconvenience of dealing with these issues led to an attempt to transfer the replacement bike’s battery to the original one, but unfortunately, the problems persisted.

Continued Struggles and Lack of Durability
Regrettably, the issues continued to mount. Within less than six weeks, the back tire of the original bike also exploded during a routine pumping session. This consistent string of problems has left us deeply dissatisfied with the overall durability and reliability of the Jetson Bolt electric bike.
Frustrations with Customer Support
To add to the frustration, when I reached out to Amazon’s customer service for assistance, I was surprised to learn that the purchase was fulfilled directly by Amazon, without involving any third-party sellers. In my attempt to obtain the manufacturer’s contact information for ordering replacement tires, I was shocked to find out that Amazon did not have access to the manufacturer’s phone number.
Concerns about Amazon’s Quality Screening
This lack of transparency and quality screening by Amazon is both concerning and utterly unacceptable. It highlights a critical flaw in their customer support and accountability processes, leaving customers like me in a difficult position when seeking resolution for product-related issues.
